This is a piece I wrote about how people can give support for cancer patients. I’ve just listed out some of the big things I needed while I was undergoing cancer treatment. It was written for a magazine in January 2021, but I’m not sure how much of it was published!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200bCancer messes with your head.\u00a0 From the second you\u2019re diagnosed, till… well, I\u2019m not sure actually.\u00a0 Even after a year in remission, I\u2019m still gripped by the \u00a0fear of a positive CT scan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You\u2019re just not the same once your mortality has been tested.\u00a0 There\u2019s going to be changes.\u00a0 Some are short term, others might last longer.\u00a0 Maybe forever.
